Brown University Invite results are out.  I don't really feel like analyzing this one (mainly since there weren't as many MA teams there), but Pembroke (MA D2 #1) won the boys championship with 60 points.

I know it's not on here, but it's on the high school page soooo... Bay State Invitational results are out.

Times not nearly as impressive on the D1 Boys side, which isn't a surprise since they were without some of the best from NH.  Mansfield (the defending MA State Champs) came up with a nice victory over some other top teams like Brookline, St. John's Shrewsbury, Xaverian, and St. John's Prep.  Antony Taylor (Arlington) came up with a bit of a surprise victory in 16:19.

Wachusett won the D1 Girls title with an impressive 27 points.  Second Place Masconomet had a surprisingly impressive 60 points.  The race was won by Newton North's Margo Gillis in 19:30.

The D2 Boys was the strongest race of the day.  Not surprisingly, D2 #2 Newburyport took home the team title with 71 points.  D2 #1 Pembroke is in Rhode Island for the Brown Invite today.  Also not surprisingly, Johnny Gregorek (Seekonk) took the race in a time of 15:56, with Dennis-Yarmouth's Max Darrah taking second in 16:38.

Not surprisingly, Northeast Region #3 (according to one poll I saw) Bishop Feehan took the Girls D2 title with 46 points, however Hamilton Wenham was surprisingly close behind with 56 points.  H-W's Allison Lanois won the race in 19:27.

Again, many sophomores and juniors were not available for the race today due to PSAT testing, so please bear that in mind.  Nonetheless, another great meet here in MA!

P.S.- Nice job by freshman Colin Bennie of Wachusett who won the Frosh Boys 2 Mile race with a time of 10:54.  For a freshman on an XC course running rather alone (he won by 20 seconds) only in his first few months of running at a high school level, I am impressed.

Catholic Memorial Invite results are out... Francis Hernandez (Bishop Guertin, NH) kicked ass on the boys D1 side with Pietrocarlo (Pinkerton, NH) not far behind... Pinkerton took the boys D1 victory with an impressive 37 points to beat out Guertin.  Lowell was first amongst MA teams, taking a distant third.

Guertin just barely edged out Franklin (MA) on the girls D1 side, with Julie Solimine (Haverhill MA) running an impressive 18:58.

Hingham (MA) won on the boys D2 side in an extremely spread out race (they won with 4, 10, 27, 46, 50).  Tyler Falukner (Minuteman MA) ran a solid 16:32 to edge out Bryan Stanley's 16:33.

On the D2 Girls side, Milton (MA) dominated, going 1, 2, 5, 9, 14 for a total of 31 points.  Olivia Collins (Milton) edged out her teammate Emily Hughes in 19:52.

Keep in mind with all of this, however, that many sophomores and juniors from public schools (most private schools took it on Wednesday) had the PSAT today and could not make it, so the results are, unfortunately, a bit skewed.  Nonetheless, a great meet with some really good times.

Anyway, here are the full results:
